This beginner yoga class offers insight about setting an intention in yoga. Yoga is sometimes thought of as stretch session, deep relaxation exercise, or even an intense workout, but one unique and beautiful aspect of yoga is the thought processes and mental work we include in our asanas or stretches, and how they can benefit anyone! Although we will dive into the benefits of being able to attach emotion and mental energy to our yoga flow, we can still benefit greatly in the physical aspect as well. This total body stretch class can be used in conjunction with a hike, cardio session, weight training, or other exercises, and really help combine for a great workout and stretch session, OR, the full body stretches in this sequence can even be seen as a full workout, we will be gaining strength, becoming more flexible, and toning and gaining lean muscle.
